According to Sports Football, Danish team coach Kasper Hjulmand has recently resigned voluntarily. One week after the Euro Cup finale, only the head coaches of England and Denmark have left their positions among the 24 participating teams. At least for now, the number of dismissed coaches is only one-third of those from the 2021 Euro Cup, marking the lowest since the 1988 Euro Cup.
Furthermore, reports indicate that Serbian coach Vujadin Stoiljković was expected to be dismissed with certainty, even President Vučić publicly stated that Serbian football needed a complete overhaul. However, Stoiljković had just signed a contract extension before the Euro Cup, and the Serbian Football Association could not afford the $1 million buyout fee, leaving him in his position. Perhaps in the near future, more coaches from Euro Cup teams may resign, but neither in terms of coach fame nor team influence will they compare to the previous 36 years.
