According to the Sun, Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is currently the head coach of Dammam Collaborative in the Saudi League. Recently, he has held talks with the club’s management, hoping to secure his position with a £15 million annual salary.
Dammam Collaborative currently ranks 10th in the league and has not won a league match since mid-September. They were also surprisingly eliminated from the cup by a second-tier team. Gerrard is now on the brink of being sacked, but despite widespread criticism, he still insists in interviews that he will work hard to improve and is not overly concerned about external opinions.
Following discussions with the management, Dammam Collaborative is still evaluating Gerrard’s position.
