November 22, the official Premier League website announced the schedule for the 2025-2026 season.
The website stated that the 2025-2026 Premier League season will start on August 16, 2025, and end on May 24, 2026, with the final round of 10 matches kicking off simultaneously.
Additionally, 33 rounds of matches in the next Premier League season will be scheduled for weekends, while another 5 rounds will be scheduled for midweek. The interval between two consecutive rounds will be no less than 60 hours. Moreover, there will be no matches scheduled on the day before Christmas 2025 (December 24).
It is reported that from the end of this season to the start of the next Premier League season, players will have an 83-day break.
