November 20, 2023 – Aston Villa officially announced today that the club has extended the contract of player Brendan Rodgers until 2030.
Official Statement:
The attacking midfielder has agreed to a deal that will keep him at the club until 2030.
Rodgers transferred from Middlesbrough to Villa on the transfer deadline day in February 2024 and made his debut in the 5-0 victory over Sheffield United. He scored his first goal for the club in a match against Brentford in April.
This season so far, he has scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists, performing exceptionally well.
