According to Tyrone Marshall, the Manchester United follow-up reporter for the Manchester Evening News, Amorim will arrive in Manchester this afternoon, British time, and will officially begin his duties as the new Manchester United manager.
Tyrone Marshall tweeted: “Amorim is on his way to Manchester; his flight took off from Beja Airport a few minutes ago. Amorim is expected to arrive in Manchester early this afternoon and will officially start his work as the new Manchester United manager today.”
“Amorim will smoothly obtain his work permit, but he can only complete all the formalities while in the UK. He can meet people today, but cannot engage in any coaching-related activities until the work permit is finalized, which is not expected to take long.”
