Commenting on his condition, Ronaldo said, “Physically and mentally, I’m in good shape. I’ll always be ready to give my best for the team and respect the coach’s decisions 100%.”
Ronaldo expressed pride in continuing to play for Portugal, “I know my football career is coming to an end, I’m 39 now, and every moment is about enjoying the game. Scoring for the national team is a unique feeling. Playing for the country is what I’ve loved all my life, and helping the team win the Euros is a dream. This will be my 6th Euro campaign, from my debut in 2004 until now, I’ve always been filled with pride and passion.”
