There were previous reports that Al Nassr FC, Riyadh, was planning to lure Rudiger with a four-year deal worth €100 million. However, journalist Rudy Galetti has clarified that the Saudi fund never had the German defender on their radar.
On social media, Rudy Galetti stated, “Despite recent speculation, the Saudi fund has no interest in Rudiger. They never made any contract proposal to the German center-back and didn’t include him in their list of targets.”
