On June 14, the UEFA European Championship is set to kick off, and Italian football legend Francesco Totti has expressed his belief that Italy and France could meet in the final.
Totti commented, “The two teams I’m most looking forward to seeing in the Euro final are Italy and France, just like in the 2006 World Cup final. But winning the Euros isn’t easy; it requires exceptional players and a well-rounded team staff. As an Italian, of course, I hope Italy wins, and both France and Italy are teams to keep an eye on.”
When discussing potential underdogs for this edition of the tournament, he remarked, “The beauty of football lies in its unpredictability. No team stands out as exceptional. If I were to make a prediction, I think Denmark might emerge as a dark horse.”
