On June 14, Dalian Kuncheng FC released an official statement announcing the premature termination of goalkeeper Ran Weifeng’s loan contract. He will return to his parent club, Chengdu Rongcheng FC.
The announcement reads:
Due to the shortage of goalkeepers at Chengdu Rongcheng FC in the Chinese Super League, after consultations between both clubs and the player himself, Ran Weifeng’s loan agreement with Dalian Kuncheng FC has been terminated, and he has officially left to rejoin Chengdu Rongcheng.
Ran Weifeng was born in Chengdu in 2002 and plays as a goalkeeper. At the start of this season, he joined Dalian Kuncheng FC on loan from Chengdu Rongcheng FC, making two starts in the FA Cup games and helping the team advance to the third round of the competition.
