The summer transfer window in European football is about to close, yet Osimhen’s transfer has not been finalized. Reports indicate that Jeddah Citizens have currently offered more favorable personal terms, but Osimhen has not given up on his plan to join Chelsea.
Romano revealed that Chelsea has officially submitted an offer to Napoli involving a loan with a mandatory buyout clause and is also negotiating salary terms with Osimhen’s side.
Sky Sports stated that representatives from both Jeddah Citizens and Chelsea have arrived in Naples to discuss contracts and transfer details. Jeddah Citizens are willing to pay a transfer fee of 70 million euros and a total salary of 120 million euros over four years, with Osimhen’s agent demanding that a reasonable departure clause must be included.
It is understood that Osimhen still prefers to continue playing in European football, thus he is willing to wait for Chelsea until the last moment. The conditions currently offered by the Blues have not yet met Osimhen’s requirements.
