The Champions League draw has been completed, and among Stuttgart’s eight opponents is the defending champion, Real Madrid.
Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness, after the draw, said: “The feeling after the draw is very special, we will have the opportunity to face one of the best clubs in Europe, which is something everyone is looking forward to. Playing against Real Madrid was a wish for many in the team and the coaching staff. Last season, we achieved qualification for the Champions League together, and this season we will also meet the challenges together.”
Stuttgart finished second in the Bundesliga last season, just behind the double champions Bayer Leverkusen, showing a very strong performance. Their opponents also include Juventus, Atalanta, and Paris Saint-Germain, making their path to advancement filled with difficulties.
