Manchester United’s official website has announced that forward Facundo Pellistri has permanently joined Panathinaikos, a club in the Greek Super League.
Pellistri is a Uruguayan international forward who participated in the Copa America this summer. Pellistri joined Manchester United in 2020 and was subsequently loaned to La Liga’s Alavés for development. During the 2022-23 season, Pellistri made appearances for Manchester United in the EFL Cup.
According to previous reports from The Daily Telegraph, Pellistri’s transfer fee is 6 million euros, with an additional 2 million euros in variable bonuses.
