September 1st – Official news from Urawa Red Diamonds states that the former Japan international, Genki Haraguchi, aged 33, has returned to join Urawa Red Diamonds as a free agent.
Genki Haraguchi plays as a midfielder and came through the youth academy of Urawa Red Diamonds in the J.League. In 2014, he began his overseas career, playing for teams such as Hertha Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hannover 96, Union Berlin, and Stuttgart successively. Last season, he only made three substitute appearances for Stuttgart and officially became a free agent in July this summer.
He has made a total of 75 appearances for the Japanese national team, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists. Currently, his market value on Transfermarkt is 500,000 euros.
