August 6 – La Liga side Girona has officially announced that midfielder Roméo has returned to the club on a loan deal that will run until the end of the season.
The announcement from Girona states that Roméo will begin training with the team from this Tuesday. During the 2022/23 season, while playing for the club, he made 34 appearances and scored two goals.
Last summer, the 32-year-old Roméo joined Barcelona in a €3.4 million transfer. He made 34 appearances for Barça, only 17 of which were starts, and provided one assist. Currently, his market value is €2 million.
