On August 5, according to foreign media reports, the Belgian triathlon relay team has announced its withdrawal from the competition as athlete Claire Michel was hospitalized due to an E. coli infection.
The media reported that after participating in the women’s triathlon event and swimming in the Seine River, Claire Michel felt unwell and was subsequently diagnosed with an E. coli infection and is currently being treated in the hospital.
