Recently, Brentford’s head coach Frank, in an interview with Sky Sports, stated that it is normal for a small club like Brentford to survive by selling players. He said he can accept any outcome, but if Toney stays, he would be ecstatic.
Frank said, “What matters to me is that Ivan (Toney) is still a Brentford player, and I am happy to have him in the squad. If he is still here at the start of the season, I would be overjoyed. But as I’ve said before, we are a club that survives by selling players, so I can accept any result.”
Previously, there were reports that due to Hlohelang Phala’s injury, Manchester United will consider signing another forward, with Toney being one of their targets.
