August 4, Premier League side West Ham United officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Dutch winger Summerville from Leeds United. The player has agreed to a five-year contract with an option for an additional year.
Summerville was born in October 2001 and is not yet 23 years old. He is right-footed and can play on either flank.
Last season, Summerville made 49 appearances for Championship side Leeds United across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists, making him the team’s top scorer and second in assists.
According to reports, the initial transfer fee for Summerville is £25 million, with several performance-related add-ons that could increase the total fee to £34 million if all conditions are met.
