November 21 – According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, if Napoli fails to successfully renew Kvaratskhelia’s contract, they will opt to sell the player during the summer transfer window next year.
Reports suggest that negotiations for Kvaratskhelia’s renewal with Napoli have stalled, as he has not yet accepted the club’s offer of a €6 million per year contract. If he refuses this deal, Napoli will attempt to sell him, despite his current contract running until 2027.
Currently, Kvaratskhelia’s annual salary at Napoli remains at only €1.5 million, which has been consistent since his arrival at the club in 2022. The report indicates that the main point of contention in the renewal talks is the buyout clause. Napoli wants to increase this figure from €80 million to €100 million, but the player’s side wishes to maintain the current level.
If the renewal process does not conclude successfully, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are both potential destinations for Kvaratskhelia.
