Recently, former Roma star Antonio Cassano harshly criticized Roma’s head coach, Siniša Yurić, during a recording of the program Viva El Football.
Cassano stated, “Apart from the 3-0 victory against Udinese in his first match, Yurić’s performance as a coach has been very poor. He won the first game, but he was completely ineffective in the others. The team suffered a 1-5 defeat against Fiorentina, and I can’t understand their take on this match.
Yurić is like Walter Mazzarri; he is not fit to coach Roma. However, there is one coach who possesses the qualities Roma needs, and that is Roberto Mancini, who recently left his position with the Saudi Arabia national team. To restore Roma’s glory, the team needs a coach who can manage a big club and has extensive experience.”
Roma currently has 10 points and is temporarily in 12th place in the Serie A league. In the next round, the team will host Torino at home.
