On November 12, Beijing time, ahead of AC Milan’s 125th anniversary, club president Paolo Scaroni, along with Fonseca, Gabbia, Tassotti, and others, attended the opening ceremony of an outdoor photography exhibition.
Tassotti spoke first, “As time goes by, I have re-evaluated some of our defeats. Although they were painful at the time, with the passage of time, you gain a different perspective. Of course, it has been a long time since we won a derby.”
Next, Gabbia shared his thoughts, “This is a very special moment. On the way to Reggio Emilia, we saw many people cheering for us. Representing Milan in European competitions is a significant responsibility. They have left us a great legacy, which requires a lot of effort and time, but we have also achieved some satisfaction.”
Then, Fonseca expressed his personal views, “When I came to Milan, I was well aware of the scale of the club. Even when I was in Portugal, it was hard to forget the great players of Milan. I still vividly remember Milan’s achievements in European competitions.”
Scaroni also shared some anecdotes, “I love all the photos of us lifting trophies. I am satisfied looking at Maldini lifting the trophy, seeing Berlusconi lift so many trophies he won, especially the international ones, but we are also super Milan fans.”
