French media RMC Sport reports that Vinícius Jr.’s entourage believes the player is unlikely to win the Ballon d’Or.
RMC writes: “Vinícius Jr. has been hyped by Spanish media as the Ballon d’Or winner for weeks, but this prestigious award may now be out of his reach. At least, that’s what they believe at Real Madrid, where everyone is convinced that the Brazilian forward will not become the 68th Ballon d’Or winner. The club’s directors also do not believe he will win the award, and the player himself shares this view. Will he decide to skip the ceremony due to disappointment?”
