From November 18 to 20, 2024, the 2024 Chinese Football Association (CFA) Integrity Work Conference was successfully held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. Representatives from 43 member associations’ integrity officers and relevant departments of the CFA Secretariat attended the conference.
At the conference, Liu Yi, Deputy Secretary of the CFA Party Committee and Discipline Inspector, delivered the annual integrity work report of the CFA. CFA staff conducted specialized training on topics such as football integrity construction and industry disciplinary penalties, the mechanism for handling complaints by integrity officers, and provided an interpretation of the “CFA Integrity Officer Management Measures (Draft for Comments).” They also engaged in group discussions with all integrity officers. All integrity officers collectively watched a special educational film on football anti-corruption.
This integrity work conference gathered integrity officers from various member associations, focusing on key tasks of promoting reform and governance through case studies. It emphasized the significant importance of integrity work in the reform and development of football, initially establishing a comprehensive supervision, management, education, and punishment system and mechanism across the industry, and conveying the CFA’s firm determination to conduct routine integrity work throughout the industry.
In the future, the CFA will work together with integrity officers from various member associations to extend football integrity work comprehensively to the grassroots level, continuously advance the construction of football conduct, and strive to open up new horizons for the reform and development of the football industry.
