Ma Dexing: China's National Football Team's New FIFA Ranking to Rise, Placing at World No. 90

On November 22, according to Ma Dexing, a reporter for Titan Sports Weekly, after this month’s international match day, China’s men’s national football team’s FIFA ranking will rise by 2 positions to world No. 90, with their Asian ranking remaining at 13th.

In the October world rankings, China’s men’s national football team was ranked 92nd with 1257.29 points. This month, in two World Cup qualifiers, the national team gained 13.85 technical points after defeating Bahrain, who were ranked higher. Despite losing to Japan at home, due to the significant ranking gap between the two teams, the national team only lost 4.76 points.

As a result, China’s team gained a total of 9.09 technical points this month, which has boosted their FIFA world ranking to No. 90. In terms of Asian rankings, the national team still has a gap of about 40 points from Bahrain, who are ranked 12th, making it unrealistic to overtake them in the short term.
