Today, BLAST revealed the groupings and initial matchups for the Spring Final, taking place from June 12-16. The tournament features eight teams competing for a prize pool of $425,000, marking the conclusion of the first half of the year’s events.
The eight participating teams will be divided into two groups, with the GSL format applied to the group stage. The top three teams from each group advance to the playoff stage. The group winners will proceed directly to the semifinals. In a departure from previous events, this Spring Final will feature a Best-of-Five (BO5) final, a first in BLAST Premier history.
The most anticipated clash in the opening round is undoubtedly the showdown between G2 and Spirit. The two sides have not met since the PGL Antwerp Major in 2022. In Group B, Astralis will initiate their campaign against NaVi.
