According to The Sun today, Norwegian football sensation and Manchester City star Erling Haaland sustained an injury during training, causing concern among City fans. The striker was seen limping off the pitch after a tackle, raising fears of a recurrence of his previous injury.
H?land had returned to Norway to join the national team for friendlies against the Czech Republic and Slovakia. During a pre-match training session, he was photographed going down in a challenge and then leaving the field unsteadily. Earlier this season, he missed as many as nine matches due to a foot injury, before returning in late January, scoring four goals in eight subsequent league games.
The injury has sparked panic among Manchester City supporters, as the team heavily relies on a fit Haaland. With the Premier League nearing its end, City is just one point behind the leaders with 63 points. They also have an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea coming up, along with two crucial UEFA Champions League quarter-final fixtures against Real Madrid. Haaland’s fitness is now pivotal to their chances of securing a potential treble.
Fortunately, the Norwegian national team doctor promptly reassured everyone that Haaland is “not seriously injured.”
