According to The Sun, Marcus Rashford has decided to remain at Manchester United and is determined to mend his relationship with manager Erik ten Hag and revive his career at the club.
Rashford’s form was poor last season, and he was caught on camera twice partying at inappropriate times, resulting in a hefty two-week fine of £700,000 from the club.
A source revealed that Rashford was surprised to miss out on England’s initial 33-man squad, but this has motivated him to regain his form and prove himself again.
The insider said, “Rashford knew he might not make the Euros squad due to his struggles last season, but he didn’t expect to be left out of even the preliminary list. He felt he hadn’t completely burned his bridges with Southgate.
“What he is certain about is that Ten Hag rates him highly. He acknowledges his poor performances when it mattered last season, but he has told friends he will come back stronger next term. He is aware that a new manager could mean he might be shown the door, but he doesn’t want to leave; he wants to rediscover his best form at United.”
