According to a recent exclusive report by Lucas Bachek, a journalist from the American sports outlet Sportico, Chinese solar company JinkoEnergy has finalized a formal sponsorship agreement with Manchester City. The deal, spanning three years, is valued at more than £10 million annually.
This marks the 30th global partner for Manchester City and the fourth Chinese company to enter into a partnership with the club, following the likes of home appliance manufacturer Midea.
JinkoEnergy, a renowned provider of solar and energy storage systems in China, will be designated as the official solar partner of the club, boosting its global market presence. The company’s products serve over 190 countries and regions, catering to more than 3,000 customers. With 14 manufacturing facilities worldwide, 26 overseas subsidiaries, and a global sales team, JinkoEnergy has a substantial international footprint.
