Luke Shaw, currently preparing for the Euros, has selected his all-time best XI teammates in an interview, including Cristiano Ronaldo, David De Gea, Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Raphael Varane, but surprisingly omitted Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire.
During the interview, Shaw was asked to pick his ideal team of players he’s shared the pitch with. Up front, he opted for Ronaldo, Rooney, and Ibrahimovic. In defense, Shaw went for his Manchester United colleague Varane and England teammates Kyle Walker and John Stones, leaving out both his Manchester United and England double teammate Maguire.
In goal, Shaw picked former teammate De Gea, while the midfield trio consisted of legends Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, and Michael Carrick, bypassing current club captain Fernandes.
Despite missing many games last season due to injury, Shaw has still been included in Southgate’s Euro squad and is likely to feature in the opening match against Sevilla.
