Poland has mourned the loss of its footballing icon, Orestes Renczyk, who died at the age of 81.
Orestes Renczyk was renowned for his lengthy career spanning several decades, during which he achieved numerous successes with various Polish football clubs. He was a towering figure in Polish football.
Over the decades, Renczyk managed several prominent Polish clubs, including Widzew Łódź, Wisła Kraków, Ruch Chorzów, GKS Bełchatów, Zawisza Bydgoszcz, Cracovia, and Śląsk Wrocław. He won the Polish championship twice with Wisła Kraków.
