Last night, Tuchel unexpectedly announced the end of his tenure at Borussia Dortmund, causing a stir in German football. It is rumored that Sahin might take over as the new head coach of the Black and Yellows. Berlin Union director Hellert has questioned Dortmund’s decision to change managers.
Hellert remarked, “When we talk about change, it doesn’t count if the style remains the same. Sahin might have a different personality than Tuchel, but both are products of Dortmund. For Sahin to truly make a difference, he should choose a club outside of Dortmund.”
Sahin had previously served as Tuchel’s assistant, and Hellert commented, “Sahin seems more like a friend than a head coach, just like Tuchel. So swapping one for the other doesn’t really change anything; it’s just a different name. I’m not sure if that’s the right way to see it, but on the surface, that’s how it appears.”
