Speaking about Chelsea’s transfer signings, Liverpool legend Carragher bluntly stated that they need a forward like Osimhen.
Carragher said: “There is no doubt that Chelsea needs a new forward. Jackson is clearly inadequate; Osimhen is a player who has been associated with the Premier League for a long time. If he comes, I would be very happy – hoping to see him in the Premier League. But just like Ivan Toney, Osimhen might also go to Saudi Arabia. I understand those attracted by money, but I hope Osimhen and Toney can stay in the Premier League before the transfer window closes tonight.”
According to Di Marzio, the deal for Osimhen to transfer to Al Ittihad Jeddah is close to being completed, and the agreement is currently being formulated. It is understood that Al Ittihad Jeddah has offered an 80 million euros plus variable bonus offer for Osimhen, and the player will receive a contract worth a total of 160 million euros over four years.
