The English Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) officially announced that Foden has won the Player of the Year award.
Foden beat his teammates Haaland and Rodri to win this honor. Other candidates included Palmer (Chelsea), Odegaard (Arsenal), and Watkins (Aston Villa).
Foden was a key player in Manchester City’s fight for the Premier League title, scoring a career-high 19 league goals last season and providing 8 assists. The 24-year-old player contributed 5 goals and 3 assists in just 8 appearances in Manchester City’s Champions League campaign, including a superb goal at the Bernabeu.
