On August 17, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) officially announced the injury status of their forward, Goncalo Ramos, who needs surgical treatment due to a sprained left ankle.
In the Ligue 1 first-round match against Le Havre, Goncalo Ramos started but was fouled by an opponent’s slide tackle from behind in the 20th minute, resulting in a sprained left ankle and his substitution off the field.
Now, PSG officials have stated that after examination, it has been determined that Ramos’s left ankle suffered a severe sprain, requiring surgery, and he is expected to be out for three months.
Last season, Goncalo Ramos made 19 appearances for PSG in Ligue 1, contributing 11 goals and one assist.
