In a recent interview, Manchester United legend Michael Owen stated that Ronaldo should be appointed as the Red Devils’ manager, and what the club needs to do now is fire Ten Hag.
Although Ronaldo revealed in an interview that he does not want to become a coach after his career ends, Owen has his own views on this: “I wonder what Ronaldo will do after retiring. Judging from past performances, it seems like he really wanted to be a coach when he was with the national team; during the 2016 European Cup, he was directing the team on the sidelines. He really looks like a coach, and it seems he wants to be one.”
“Perhaps in the future, he might become the head coach of the Portuguese national team, who knows? Of course, if he succeeds as a coach, he might attract attention from big clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester United. What Manchester United needs to do now is fire Ten Hag; they ranked 8th last year, and if you’re a Manchester United fan, you’d hope for improvement in the team’s performance.”
“The team has persisted with a single coach, but the players he signed have failed to change the situation. I believe that only by changing the manager can Manchester United turn things around. They luckily got three points in their first game, but subsequent results were even as expected. There has been no change at all in the new season.”
