Al Nassr lost 1-4 to Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup, after which Saudi media outlet Al Madina reported that Al Nassr’s management is considering another managerial change.
The report claims that Al Nassr is seriously considering dismissing Castro, and the management has also begun searching for a new head coach.
However, Castro’s agent stated: “We have not received any notification from Al Nassr. Castro’s goal remains unchanged, which is to lead the team to championship victory.”
The current 62-year-old Castro took over Al Nassr last summer, signing until June 30, 2025. So far, he has led the team in 50 matches with a record of 36 wins, 6 draws, and 8 losses.
