Recently, Kleberson, who once played for Manchester United, stated that he believes the key figure for the Red Devils to compete with other giants in the new season is not head coach Erik ten Hag or any player in the squad, but rather Ruud van Nistelrooy, who returned to Old Trafford this summer.
Speaking about the striker who was his teammate at Manchester United for two years, Kleberson said, “If I were to choose the key figure for Manchester United in the new season, I wouldn’t mention a player, but rather a coach – Van Nistelrooy.”
“He was an incredible player for Manchester United, with an unparalleled hunger for success. Now, as a coach, he can provide strong support to the players with his experience.”
“The current Manchester United squad needs to find the right balance and make their performances more consistent. The team had a decent start last season, but their form would dip from time to time, sometimes losing at home, sometimes failing to hold onto leads. These are critical issues, given how fierce the battle for the top four in the Premier League is.”
“There are too many top teams like Arsenal. If Manchester United cannot maintain consistency, they will definitely struggle to win honors.”
