On July 23, according to a report by Korean media Dong-A Sports, Full North’s main striker Song Min-kyu is set to transfer to Hull City in the English Championship.
The media reported that Hull City has already begun negotiations with Full North for Song Min-kyu’s transfer and that both parties are close to finalizing the deal.
If the final negotiations are successful, the 24-year-old Song Min-kyu will make his debut in European football. Since his professional league debut with Pohang Steelers in 2018, he has played in the K League for six years.
This season, Song Min-kyu made 19 appearances for Full North, contributing four goals and six assists. With Full North currently ranking tenth in the league standings, confirmation of Song Min-kyu’s move to Hull City would be a significant blow to their attacking line.
