Recently, San Lorenzo President Moretti gave an interview to the media. In the interview, Moretti defended the club’s management.
Moretti stated, “We paid $4.6 million within six months, just to pay off the debts of the previous management. When we took office in December last year, our players were owed four months’ salaries, totaling $1.9 million. We had over 57 lawsuits from former players and the club, with the previous management not having made payments to anyone.”
“Starting from January 2025, with several contracts signed and increases in variables such as sponsors and kit suppliers, we will achieve zero deficit. All of this is reflected in the budget that will be approved by the assembly on July 31st.”
