On July 19, during the second practice session of the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu experienced a spin while exiting a corner, with his tires spinning in place and being thrown onto the grass. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed. Zhou Guanyu believes this was not his fault, and he pointed the finger at Red Bull driver Sergio Perez.
Zhou Guanyu stated: “To be honest, Perez was not on the right line, I encountered dirty air, it wasn’t because I made a mistake in that corner. I was on the curb, preparing to turn left, and then I saw the Red Bull ahead of me. I hit the dirty air from the car in front, and that’s how it happened.”
In addition, Zhou Guanyu added: “That moment was very scary, I’m glad I managed to save the car. But honestly, it’s best to stay on the left side in that corner to avoid a collision. I quickly turned left, and fortunately, I successfully avoided him, and there was no damage to him, so it’s alright.”
The third practice session of the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix will take place tonight at 18:30; qualifying will begin tonight at 22:00. Let’s cheer on Chinese driver Zhou Guanyu together! 🤜
