On July 30, in the women’s 100m breaststroke final at the Paris Olympic Games, Chinese swimmer Tang Qianting clocked 1 minute and 05.54 seconds, winning the silver medal.
In her post-race interview, Tang Qianting said, “Due to the different depths of the pool, I made adjustments to my technique. When I first arrived, I had high expectations for myself, but my performance in the preliminaries and semifinals wasn’t as good as I hoped, which affected my mindset. Over the last three years, I’ve gone through a lot, and I hope that in the future, I can carry the banner for Chinese swimming.”
