On July 18, Saudi Professional League team Al-Kadisiyah officially announced that former Arsenal and Marseille forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined the team, with a contract running until 2026.
Aubameyang had previously announced his departure from Marseille via social media, becoming a free agent.
In this season’s top five European leagues, the 35-year-old Aubameyang was the only player over 30 years of age to have been directly involved in at least 40 goals (including goals scored and assists) across all competitions. On average, he contributed to a goal or assist every 132 minutes.
