The Daily Telegraph reports that due to the injury of forward Højlund, Manchester United are preparing to sign Brentford’s center-forward Ivan Toney.
In a friendly match against Arsenal, Manchester United lost two key players: Jorro suffered a severe fracture in his left foot and will be out for three months, while Højlund is set to miss six weeks. Currently, in the Manchester United squad, there is only new signing Zirkzee as a natural center-forward. The club hopes to sign Toney from the Bees to reinforce their attack line. In terms of transfer fees, Manchester United is willing to accept a maximum asking price of 40 million pounds.
