The Danish Superliga club, FC Copenhagen, has officially announced the signing of former Denmark international, Thomas Delaney.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who came through Copenhagen’s youth academy, has previously played for clubs such as Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. Last season, Delaney was on loan at Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League, and after the season ended, he officially terminated his contract with Sevilla.
This move marks Delaney’s return to his former club after seven years. In the first round of the upcoming Danish Superliga season, Copenhagen will be away against Lyngby, where Delaney is expected to make his debut upon his return.
