Anderlecht manager Brian Riemer has revealed that Thorgan Hazard will be out for an extended period due to a severe knee injury, ruling him out for the remainder of 2024.
Riemer commented, “We won’t see Thorgan on the pitch for several months. I’m certain he won’t play for us at all in 2024. The exact date of his return is uncertain; we can’t take any risks with an injury like this.”
“He’s mentally strong, thanks to the support of his family. He’s an optimistic person and has dealt with injuries before. He knows how to handle it, and I’m confident he’ll come back as soon as possible.”
If Riemer’s assessment is accurate, Hazard will miss the upcoming European Championship for the Belgian national team.
