According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, 24-year-old Arsenal academy graduate midfielder Smith Rowe has confirmed his transfer to Fulham for a total fee of £34 million.
It is reported that Smith Rowe’s transfer fee includes a fixed amount of £27 million plus an additional £7 million in variables, setting a new record for the most expensive signing in Fulham’s history.
In recent seasons, Smith Rowe, once a promising star in Arsenal’s youth academy, has been plagued by injuries and gradually lost his starting position. Last season, he made 13 appearances in the Premier League for the team, contributing two assists.
