On July 31, Real Madrid held a press conference in the United States as part of their pre-season tour. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Real Madrid will not be signing any new players this summer, indicating that the club’s transfer window has closed.
Ancelotti stated that Real Madrid will not be bringing in any new signings: “Our squad for the new season is set. Vallejo has returned to the team, Alaba is recovering, and we have promising young talents like Juan, Jacob, and Raul Asensio.”
Regarding the current state of Real Madrid, Ancelotti said: “I am not worried about the team. We have outstanding players in every position, and the addition of Mbappe is fantastic. We did not have much time to prepare, but the players returned to the team in good shape. This season, we lost Kroos, but we have plans in place to cover his absence.”
Ancelotti also spoke about Brazilian prodigy Endrick: “He is very young, strong, and fast. I cannot expect too much from him. We must remember that his arrival is exciting, and I am delighted to have him on our team.”
In the new season, Real Madrid may face up to 72 matches across multiple competitions. When asked about this, Ancelotti commented: “The season is very long, and we do not have a specific fitness plan yet. It is difficult to establish a fitness plan when you are playing every three days. We must consider rotation to avoid overworking our players.”
