According to Italian media outlet, Tuttosport, Juventus and Inter Milan are discussing a swap deal that could shake up the football world.
The report states that Juventus is considering offloading Federico Chiesa this summer and hopes to do so this year to avoid him becoming a free agent next year. Napoli and Roma both inquired about Chiesa but subsequently dropped their interest in the Italian winger. The player’s agent also approached Chelsea and Tottenham, but both clubs showed little interest.
Tuttosport reports that Inter Milan have been monitoring Chiesa for some time and had hoped to sign him for free next summer, but they have now entered into negotiations with Juventus. Inter hope to offer Nicolo Frattesi plus €10 million in cash to secure Chiesa. Negotiations are currently ongoing.
