On July 20, according to an official announcement from Serie A giants AC Milan, the club has completed a contract renewal with young talent Francesco Camarda. The new deal will keep him at the club until 2027.
Francesco was born in Milan on March 10, 2008, and joined the Rossoneri’s youth academy at the age of seven. His technical abilities were impressive even at the youth level. In the 2021/22 season, he helped the team win the U15 Serie A championship.
Last season, he played for the U19 national team, making a total of 41 appearances across the league, the UEFA Youth League, and the Coppa Italia Primavera, scoring 14 goals.
On November 25, 2023, at just 15 years, 8 months, and 16 days old, he became the youngest ever starting player in Serie A history when he started in the home game against Fiorentina. He made his second appearance in a match against Frosinone at San Siro.
Between May and June, this young forward participated in the U17 European Championship with the national team, where he was named the best player. Currently, he is participating in the U19 European Championship in Northern Ireland along with four other Rossoneri players.
Francesco will continue his professional career at Milan and is committed to the club until June 30, 2027.
