Official Announcement from Wuhan Three Towns Football Club:
Born in 1996, Portuguese player Joao Carlos plays as a forward. He has represented Portugal’s U23 national team and participated in the 2016 Toulon Tournament. Joao Carlos began his career at the youth academy of Portuguese giants Braga, later playing for Sporting CP’s youth team, Braga B, Tondela, Leixoes, and Aves. In the 2021-2022 season, Joao Carlos helped Portuguese second division club Aves win the league title, securing promotion to the Primeira Liga. In the recently concluded 2023-2024 season, Joao Carlos made a total of 30 appearances for Aves, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.
Joao Carlos excels in the roles of winger and supporting forward, with outstanding dribbling skills and an excellent ability to score from long range. We hope that Joao Carlos’ addition will diversify our attacking strategies and strengthen our front line.
Welcome Joao Carlos to Wuhan Three Towns! We hope you integrate into the Three Towns family quickly, fully demonstrating your personal abilities and characteristics, and contributing to the strength of the team!
