On July 9, according to an official announcement from the Australian A-League club Melbourne Victory, their first-choice goalkeeper, Paul Izzo, has left the team and transferred to join the Danish club Randers.
The official statement reads as follows:
Goalkeeper Paul Izzo will be leaving the club to join a European club for an undisclosed transfer fee. We wish Paul all the best in Europe!
The 29-year-old Izzo spent two seasons with Melbourne Victory, making a total of 51 appearances for the team.
According to foreign media reports, Izzo will join the Danish club Randers. This will be his second stint at a European football club.
